Mitch and Jordan’s September wedding was a perfect blend of classic elegance and lighthearted fun. The day started at the stylish Retro Suites Hotel, where they got ready surrounded by their closest friends. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air as Mitch and Jordan prepared for their special moment—a private first look and intimate vow exchange at the beautiful Studio Sisters Studio in downtown Chatham. It was a peaceful, emotional moment for the couple, a chance to savor their love in private before the whirlwind of the day truly began.
From there, the festivities moved to the historic Armories, where Mitch and Jordan’s ceremony took place in front of their closest friends and family. True to their playful spirit, they opted for “beer boys” instead of traditional flower girls, delighting the crowd. In a fun twist, they also hid the wedding rings, making the ceremony even more memorable by having a random guest serve as an impromptu ring bearer!
After the ceremony, the wedding party gathered for photos, capturing a mix of timeless, classic shots and candid moments filled with laughter. The couple’s beloved golden retriever, Miller, joined them for some photos, and of course, he was the perfect good boy, adding a touch of extra charm to the day.
The evening kicked off with a bang back at the Armories, where Mitch and Jordan made a grand entrance—roasting their wedding party as they walked in! It was the perfect way to set the tone for the night: fun, laughter, and celebration. Their first dance followed, opening the dance floor and setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of love, joy, and memories shared with those they hold dearest.
Let me share some of my favourite images from their wedding day.
P.S. Special thanks to my fantastic second shooter, Aimee Pineau!
