Darrin and Kristina’s fall wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and natural beauty, celebrated on a sunny Thanksgiving weekend at the stunning Timber Ridge wedding venue. The day began with the guys enjoying a relaxed brunch at Chilled Cork restaurant, followed by getting ready at the Retro Suites hotel. Meanwhile, the bride and her bridesmaids prepared at her sister’s home, where they had their hair and makeup done, setting the stage for a day filled with love and laughter.
The outdoor ceremony, surrounded by the breathtaking colors of autumn, was made even more special with Kristina’s brother officiating. It was a picturesque scene, the warm sun casting a glow over the couple as they exchanged vows with their friends and family as witnesses. After the ceremony, the newlyweds took time for family photos and fun wedding party shots on the Timber Ridge property. In a unique and charming tradition, the groomsmen unearthed a bottle of whiskey they had buried a month before—a ritual meant to ensure good weather for the wedding, which turned out perfectly!
The celebration continued with a choreographed first dance that captivated everyone. Afterward, guests were treated to a delicious meal catered by Willow Ridge, followed by heartfelt speeches, the father-daughter dance, and the mother-son dance. As the night unfolded, a storm rolled in, but the cozy atmosphere inside the venue kept everyone dry and warm.
The evening ended on a high note with a dramatic, rain-soaked night photo of Darrin and Kristina—one of those magical moments where the rain added to the romance, creating an unforgettable memory to close out their perfect day. It was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the changing seasons.
